The Role As a warehouse assistant, your responsibilities will be both crucial and rewarding. You will be involved in: Ensuring site freight is packaged and secured in a manner that prevents the potential for damage and injury. Assist with loading, unloading, delivery or pick up of site freight. Perform freight scanning functions as required. High standard of housekeeping in warehouse Communicate with operations supervisor/Fleet controller where required. Multiple other duties within this role. All training provided. Ongoing employment with client for right person. Requirements Forklift Licence desireable Medium rigid licence would be advantageous but not desirable for this role. Hard working and interested in applying themselves. Mechanical aptitude Teamwork Skills: Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to work seamlessly within a small team are crucial to your success in this role. Clean criminal history Good geographic knowledge of Hobart and surrounds. Hours of work: Up to 3 days per week (days in between Mon - Friday 8am - 4pm) Maybe the option of overtime when needed. $29-$30.00 per hour casual rate. Company BBQ once a month provided. Family orientated company. Ability to work well within a team.
