We are looking for an experienced Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineer to join our Integrated Engineering Services Division based in Port Melbourne. As an Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineer, you shall be involved with designing and delivering a vast range of project for our client in a dynamic innovation space. This may include electrical cabinetry layout, control system development, data acquisition, PCB design and developing Embedded Software. As a Senior Engineer, you will be joining diverse team in which you will be able to grow your technical and leadership capabilities. While it is beneficial to have Defence Experience, we are looking for the right person to fit within the team. It's a given that you will have great technical design and problem solving skills, working knowledge of the electrical Australian Standards, however to be a standout you will need to come with System Engineering experience, including all aspects of the Engineering-V cycle, understanding how to successfully verify and certify a product. You should be at the point of your career where you are a Victorian Registered Engineer and looking for that next challenge in which to accelerate your career. To be successful for the position, you will need to bring with you; Degree in electronics, mechatronics, electrical, or related discipline Ability to embrace challenges with energy and enthusiasm Excellent communications skills Strong interpersonal skills, along with effective written and verbal communication Ability to take initiative and self-direct, with an innovative approach to problem solving Be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, determine their requirements, and to develop strategies to deliver agreed outcomes Experience in the application of quality management, safety management, and risk management systems is desirable Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance and be eligible to obtain a Registered Professional Engineer certificate with in Victoria.
