Make great projects work Calibre has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with Electrical Engineering experience and background to join a high-performing team at our Perth CBD Office. As a Senior Project Engineer at Calibre, you will join a multidisciplinary project team working on a long-term major project for a tier 1 iron ore mining client. The initial responsibilities will include key accountabilities such as: Co-ordination and management of design functions based at different locations across Australia. Interfacing with and working within a Brownfield environment. Planning and progress tracking, as well as procurement and contract administration. Shutdown (blackout) planning and coordination with operations and the project. Subcontractor coordination including switchroom building, installation, fire systems, and communications. Coordination of existing procurement packages already in execution. Commissioning, completions planning, and management including HV and protection/control. Coordination of construction disciplines, and client interface. Thrive with us We hope you’ll bring Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. 8 years of experience in project engineering, and background as an Electrical or E&I Engineer. Experience within Mining, design, and major project environments. Demonstrated understanding of electrical engineering design, and the ability to provide input to technical queries to clarify project scopes. Experience in coordination and review of design documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Experience with HV, LV, transmission structures, switching and HV Switchyards.
