Services_APAC-E693 Hazardous Areas Equipment Engineer - Full Time - Sydney, Australia Join our Services_APAC team within Services division in Australia as Hazardous Areas Equipment Engineer to help us take our engineering to the next level. Your main tasks and responsibilities: Development of procedures and governance related to Hazardous Areas Equipment. Interpret and define relevant standards for application across service centres Conduct fault finding electrical/mechanical testing hazardous areas rotating equipment. Provide Quality Assurance inspection for overhauled hazardous areas equipment Troubleshoot issues with electro-mechanical hazardous areas rotating machines in service centre and on-site. Root cause analysis (RCA) of issues, and recommendations of repair and upgrades. Develop technical report and proposal, and support cost estimation Support Service Centres with overhaul and asset maintenance projects. Support quality team conducing internal audits and preparing for external audits related to hazardous areas activities. Initiate and participate in the planning and development of engineering policies and procedures. What you bring to Sulzer: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Professional Engineering Registration 10 years technical experience with electrical rotating equipment services Strong communication and time management skills Experience conducting and facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations A technical background in engineering preferably in power generation heavy industry Machine diagnostics (electrical testing/vibration analysis) is a plus Mechanical Engineers may be considered if they can demonstrate extraordinary knowledge and experience in Electrical Rotating Equipment Engineering What we offer you: Attainable bonus scheme.
