You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining datasets and the data ecosystem for business and tech analytics teams, project analysts, and data scientists. This involves locating, examining, transforming, and organizing datasets to extract valuable insights. You will also partner with business stakeholders, project and technology teams, data engineers and data scientists to provide information and insights for business prioritisation and client understanding. This includes creating dashboards, reports, visualisations, and using data for forecasting. You'll also set up data pipelines for continuous or batch data collection and ensure adherence to quality standards. Additionally, you'll manage databases, warehouses, and data collections, including modelling and ETL/ELT activities. This involves developing stored procedures, writing SQL queries, and building semantic layers. You'll conduct testing as needed, including SIT, UAT, and PIV testing. What we look for in a successful candidate: First and foremost, possessing a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience is required. Additionally, demonstrable relevant experience in data or technology, along with proficiency in SSIS, is essential. It would be highly beneficial to have a comprehensive understanding of all phases of the SDLC framework and information best practices. Proficiency in data wrangling tools, as well as reporting and analytical tools, is also desired. Last but not least solid experience in Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, coupled with excellent communication skills and adept stakeholder management, are highly regarded qualities for this role.
