About the Role (your why) We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join us as a member of the Technical Services team, you'll interact directly with clients and other members of the Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions. You'll be responsible for the support of server infrastructure, within contracted time frames and services level agreements. This support will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support. Our offices are based in (Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best What you'll do At the moment, as Senior Systems Engineer this is an excellent technical opportunity, joining a fantastic team of peers with opportunity to take your career to new heights You will be part of our extensive Operations business who support each other working collaboratively across locations. You'll be providing technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels along with maintaining technical documentation. You will also be using tools and processes to deliver services to customers to ensure their service level agreements are met, proactively managing their infrastructure and driving service process improvement. We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders' changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. This role requires AU Citizenship and have Baseline/NV1 Clearance. What you'll bring To be successful in this role you'll bring at least 5 years' experience as a System Administrator with Windows Server technologies. Your technical experience should include: MS server operating functions, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, ADFS, DHCP, DFS, Failover Clustering Hands on experience in the operation of Infrastructure outcomes such as VMware vSphere, VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), Cisco Unified Computing (UCS), and backup recovery technologies (Backup Exec, Netbackup and CommVault) Your customer focus and communication skills will be a strength along with an ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships, partnerships and networks.
