Perth based position Permanent opportunity Flexible work arrangements We are seeking a Lead Production Engineer to join our INPEX Operations team in Perth on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising revenue from the Ichthys Production System. Key responsibilities include: Provide visible presence and personal reinforcement of HSE goals and objectives, including conducting site visits, challenging safety performance, and encouraging appropriate safety prioritisation in decision making. Proactively influence the Short-Term Integrated Production Plan (ST-IPP), Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) and Integrated Shutdown Plan (ISDP) to optimize short and mid-term production plans, including Phase 2 and Drilling related activities. Delivery of accurate mid-term forecasts for Work Plan & Budgets and quarterly updates. Deliver short-term forecasts for Preliminary and Agreed Lifting Plans (PLP and ALP) representing accurately production and events impacting production. Manage Production Performance KPIs and drive the business to focus on the most important improvement areas. Validate daily and monthly Hydrocarbon Accounting (HCA) processes to assure accurate measurement and reporting of production and deferments. Identify means to debottleneck the capacity of the production system and initiate required changes. Key qualifications, skills and experience required: Engineering degree in Process / Mechanical / Instrument / Electrical disciplines. Experience of software for reservoir and process simulation (GAP, PROSPER and HYSYS steady state at minimum). Ideally experienced in Reliability, Availability and Maintenance (RAM) analysis. Background in offshore oil and gas and LNG operating experience highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills in fostering teamwork, collaboration, and diversity. Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the company. Proven ability to manage a large workload and provide advice in a timely manner and at a consistently high level. Highly accomplished communication and presentation skills.
