The Role As a Lead Engineer, you are an expert in designing and coding using more than one programming languages, with excellent knowledge of cloud technologies and a passion to make technology push the boundaries. You excel at leading your team's engineers as they attempt complex technical challenges by applying appropriate technologies and best practices. You will lead the discussions for design, scoping, and prioritization of multiple projects. We use many of the latest technology, practices, and tools, so you will need to be comfortable with constantly learning new tools and techniques along with running proof of concept evaluations to keep us on the leading edge. About You Key Responsibilities: Hands on design, develop and maintain low latency APIs and building micro services architecture Write and improve on existing suite of unit and integration tests Own the components you build through to production and provide post go-live support Facilitate development and growth of junior engineers through mentoring and hiring Essential technical skills: EXPERIENCE WITH .NET AND AWS (essential) .NET Core and C# with IoC/DI and/or Java Spring based microservices with IOC Unit testing & mocking frameworks (nunit, Moq, NSubstitute or similar) Event driven architecture, messaging, and event bus platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS Event Bridge or similar) Distributed caching (Redis, Memcached or similar) CI/CD - Continuous Delivery (GitHub Actions, Octopus, Jenkins or similar) Building scalable and self-healing infrastructure in cloud Solid understanding of multi-threading and low-latency programming techniques Demonstrate an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
