YOUR ROLE CEVA's Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) division manages and coordinates the transport, distribution, preparation, and storage of vehicles on behalf of major automotive manufacturers, distributors, dealerships and more. As a Field Sales Manager based from our Pinkenba offices, you'll actively promote and showcase all CEVA services to potential and prospective customers in this growing sector. You'll cultivate strong relationships with both transactional and corporate clients, aiming to become the first choice for all FVL opportunities. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Specifically, you will: Identify and close new business opportunities to meet individual sales target retain existing accounts (relationship management) Maintain awareness of customer freight movements and status tracking of customer freight Support Field Sales Coordinators with onboarding new strategic customers & implement account management plan Support Field Sales Coordinators for booking, quoting and tracking during periods of high customer traffic. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Our ideal candidate has prior experience in a comparable sales or key account management / coordination role in any industry (preference for transport, automotive or similar), as well as: Applied understanding of sales targets, budgets and KPIs Sound communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills Resilient, self-starting and able to cope effectively with pressure and setbacks Intermediate skills in MS Excel, and capacity to learn and apply new systems and technology Valid driver licence, own vehicle and willingness to travel 1-2 days per week. In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
