Do you enjoy interacting with older members of our community? HammondCare’s Waratah Social Club in Casino and Banksia Social Club in Kyogle are looking for volunteers to drive the mini-bus around the local community, such as shopping trips or a picnic in a park. The Social Club offers clients who are frail aged and or living with dementia a chance to spend a day socialising outside their home. This role is Kyogle based but will cover the Social Club at Kyogle (Tuesday) and Casino (Wednesday) once a month. Lunch is included. We require a drivers license class C as it’s an eight seater bus. We will cover your membership to the Kyogle Bowling Club. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself.
