Job description • Global organisation • Pre-Sales opportunity • Sydney based - hybrid working - upto 33% travel within Australia Client Details Join this established and leading global organisation within their growing Pre Sales function. You will service a variety of premium customers across Australia, mostly within the industrial and resources industries. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be expected to partner with and support the organisation to provide high level solutions to a range of customers, predominately in the resources and industrial industries. You will provide pre-sales support, advance the technical sales agenda and ensure that prospects and existing customers have the right technical solutions to meet their needs. This role will allow you to influence the way the customers utilise their products and technologies on a day to day basis. Primary Responsibilities of a Pre-Sales Engineer include: Ability to build long term, customer focused relationships is essential with solid experience in a previous Pre Sales or Solutions role. Ability to communicate well with all the different functions in the business. You have worked with Monitor and Control software for at least 3 years. Experience with Scada is preferred. Have the ability to understand technical engineering / application design and complex software solutions. You are someone who gets excited by solving complex and complicated software solutions, you are innovative, and can influence stakeholders at the highest level. In addition, you possess the following relevant skills: Engage with Customers/Alliance Partners/ Distributors/System Integrators to assist with portfolio understanding, solution positioning and general enablement. Work with your peers around the APAC region as well as globally Take responsibility for the preparation and presentation of technical proposals and presentations, work breakdown structures, architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, etc. An attractive remuneration package will be offered for this role.
