Employment Type : Permanent Part Time Position Classification : Dietitian Level 1 Remuneration : $ 35.78 - $ 41.81 per hour plus superannuation Hours Per Week : 24 Requisition ID : REQ461315 Where you'll be working St George Hospital is seeking a motivated, self driven and enthusiastic Level 1 / 2 Dietitian to join our team. The successful applicant for this position will be an integral member of the Nutrition and Dietetic Department and will be responsible for the provision of high quality, evidence-based dietetic services to consumers attending our outpatient clinics.  They will also be expected to provide care to our consumers across the hospital, which may also include the inpatient setting. This position will require high level clinical skills and knowledge; involvement in quality improvement activities including evaluation of dietetic services ; provision of clinical supervision to students on clinical placement as appropriate; attendance at relevant clinical and department meetings, including ongoing continued professional development. Plan, coordinate, and implement in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised knowledge within Nutrition and Dietetics in order to provide high quality Dietetic care to patients consistent with NSW Health, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing. All workers and new recruits are required to receive 2 doses of a Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine to commence employment/ engagement or continue to work within a NSW Health service.   A worker and new recruit will be considered compliant if they have a medical contraindication to all available Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccines and provide medical contraindication evidence in line with the policy requirements. In addition, all Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant. Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza or COVID-19 vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.
