Casual Speech Pathologist Grade 1 or Grade 2 An exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist with acute experience to join our service on a casual basis Flexible opportunity to work weekends and/or weekdays Join the Speech Pathology team at one of Melbourne’s largest hospitals We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Speech Pathology team. This is a casual position based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) City Campus. An exciting opportunity exists for a grade 1 or 2 clinician with at least 3 years acute experience to join the RMH Speech Pathology department. Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the casual Speech Pathologist will be responsible for the assessment and management of a diverse acute caseload. Your new role: Provide quality patient care through comprehensive evidence based assessment, management and discharge planning. Work collaboratively and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Effectively manage and prioritise tasks within a fast-paced hospital environment. Be an active member of the Speech Pathology team including participation in clinical supervision and continuing professional development. About You: You have at least 3 years experience working in the adult acute setting at either Grade 1 or Grade 2 level. You demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills. You display professional behaviour and conduct which reflects self-initiative, confidentiality, self-evaluation and commitment to professional development. You have a good working knowledge of community support services.
