The College is seeking a dynamic, innovative and collaborative Mathematics teacher to join our Mathematics faculty and College. Key Selection Criteria: A working understanding of, and overt commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School in the tradition of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Secondary Mathematics teaching qualifications. Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics to secondary school students. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to design inquiry based learning experiences where students exercise choice to demonstrate knowledge and understanding. Ability to use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform ‘next steps’ for students. Regularly provide students with feedback as part of the teaching and learning cycle. Demonstrated deep understanding of curriculum and pedagogy and how these underpin successful engagement and learning. Be open to growth and development through professional learning experience which includes classroom observations. Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular aspects of the College.
