This pivotal role involves overseeing the day-to-day Financial Accounting functions, managing the Financial Accounting team, and steering the month-end financial processes encompassing both Capital and Operating expenses, as well as revenue streams. This role will be overseeing the preparation of regular monthly reports and handling ad hoc financial analyses, taking charge of various critical areas, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, taxation, cash management, investments, and other vital financial accounting processes. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance and actively collaborating with senior stakeholders, including the District, Facility and Service executive will be essential to ensure effective management of expenditure, revenue streams, cash flow, creditors, and receivables for SWSLHD. This role presents an opportunity to guide the district in improving financial practices in compliance and efficiency, crucial to the district's operational success and fiscal health.
