You will take ownership of certain accounting topics and stakeholders that align to those topics. You will be responsible for empowering Macquarie's finance teams and managing IFRS compliance across your topic areas. Prepare technical accounting guidance and frameworks to support technical conclusions. Advise on appropriate accounting treatments for proposed transactions. Prepare training materials and be part of a team presenting on new and existing standards. Involvement in writing and maintaining Macquarie accounting policies. Review of various financial statements and assisting in scanning accounting developments. What you offer CA/CPA Qualified Experience within a technical accounting or policy position In depth knowledge of IFRS standards The ability to articulate complex accounting topics to a variety of stakeholders Experience partnering with and advising senior leadership.
