Seeking a motivated Mid-Senior Level Piping Designer to join a progressive Australian petroleum company Amazing opportunity to join a progressive Australian petroleum company Our client is looking for an experienced Mid-Senior Level Piping Designer who can work in a high pressure, face pace environment working on Piping design & detailing for a large-scale Oil and Gas Refinery. If you have a strong background in Piping Design for an Oil and Gas or Mining company this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing company. Attractive Salary - $60 - $95/hr super (Dependent on experience) Office location: Port of Brisbane - Lytton 12 Months Contract - extension highly likely M-F 8hrs/day 40 hrs/week (overtime may be required) Start ASAP Main Duties/Accountabilities: Piping design & layout 3D modelling Isometric drawing creation Pipe support detailing Updating mechanical and structural drawings Field investigation & site measuring Ability to interpret and use 3D laser scan point cloud data Requirements: Successful candidates must possess significant knowledge and experience with; Mid-level experience Piping Designer position (5 – 10yrs experience approx) High school certificate (QCE or equivalent) including technical drawing/design experience. AutoCAD software 3D drafting experience. Autodesk Plant3D & Navisworks experience. Cert IV Engineering Drafting preferable Proficient Microsoft Office Skills.
