Our client is a Tier 1 client in Financial Services sector. They are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Engineering to lead their talented engineering department. The Head of Engineering will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technical vision of company . This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading successful engineering teams/deparment, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering function, managing cross-functional teams, and collaborating with other department heads to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities: Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for the department. Provide leadership and guidance to the engineering department, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making informed decisions about the adoption of new tools and methodologies. Ensure that the technology stack is scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals. Collaborate with other department heads, to ensure cross-functional alignment and successful project execution. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level. Requirements: Proven experience as a Head of Engineer / Executive Manager, with a minimum of 6-8 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated success in managing and leading engineering teams/department in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Expertise in Application Architecture, SaaS deployment/integration, Software Engineering strategies, DevOps/Cloud Strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
