Suits Manager or Senior Accountant with tax experience stepping up c. $150-165K inc super, plus bonus, depending on experience Australian tax background required This diversified Australian property, construction & asset management group is seeking a Tax and Accounting Manager to join it's CBD-based team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this unique tax role presents an opportunity to identify process improvement initiatives and drive change across the finance function. You will also provide support to the FC and CFO around technical matters and M&A activity. You'll own the company's tax compliance (income FBT) and with support from a Corporate Accountant will assist with consolidated half-year and year-end financial reporting, and look after treasury matters, including debt facilities & bank covenant compliance reporting. To be succesful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 3 years of relevant experience in tax. Chartered-trained (including 1st time movers from tax or business services) candidates are welcome to apply and exposure to in-direct taxes (such as FBT), as well as consolidated accounting, will be a bonus.
