Immediate Start - 4-6 week Role Initially - Multinational Construction Organisation - Technical Hands-On Accounting Role - Compliance - CA/CPA About the role An exciting opportunity with a multinational Construction/Property organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This hands-on position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale. The responsibilities Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to); Responsible for monthly management reporting including P&L, cashflow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Preparation of Board Packs and general/special purpose annual financial reports. Carrying out monthly overhead analysis and providing commentary on actuals vs budget expenditure. Business partnering with divisional leaders for monthly forecasting, quarterly reviews and annual budgeting process. Analysis and reporting of staff utilisation on various projects and tenders. Preparation of quarterly and annual project position. Reviewing various accounting treatments and preparation accounting papers and year-end disclosures. Carrying out month-end close including posting journal entries across accruals, prepayments, consolidation elimination. Liaising with auditors regarding year-end requirements and queries. Ad-hoc projects as and when required Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency The successful applicant will have Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and also autonomously as well. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail and have worked in the Construction sector previously.
