About the role Evolution Mining currently has an opportunity for an Auto Electrician within the Underground Mobile Maintenance team. The purpose of this position is to safely perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks safely and effectively. You will work on a diverse array of mobile mining equipment including Sandvik loaders, development and production drills and Atlas Copco compressors, generators and pumps. Your tasks will encompass not only performing routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing, but also actively engaging in fieldwork. A critical aspect of this position involves maintaining stringent health, safety, statutory, regulatory, and licensing standards and principles, both within your immediate workplace and by proactively identifying potential risks throughout Evolution. To excel in this role, a steadfast commitment to embodying and upholding the core values of Evolution is essential. We offer an 8/6 (days) - 7/7 (nights) roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville, DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance and for those that live residential in Cloncurry, you will receive a local living allowance. After your first quarter working at Ernest Henry you will also be eligable for the quarterly safe production bonus. We also pay 13% superannuation, provide a company share ownership plan, complimentary life insurance and income protection and enable our workforce to take opportunities to work interstate or overseas at our other operations. About you You will have the ability to make decisions, work to deadlines, communicate effectively and always strive to be part of a high performing team. You will also possess a trade qualification in Auto Electrical, a valid Australian manual driver's license, proficiency in reading and interpreting auto electrical schematics, familiarity with software programs and efficiency in using OEM diagnostics tooling, and the ability to conduct effective fault-finding on electrical systems and machinery.
