Responsibilities & Duties: Process sales orders for customers, repeat and new orders. Amend sales orders and product specifications as required. Manage customer order and delivery protocols. Ensure all order quantities outside agreed standard order quantities are captured. Ensure accuracy of data entry pertaining to sales orders. Expedite sample requests to agreed delivery dates. Identify opportunities for gains in efficiency of the process by constantly reviewing systems. Service walk-in customers. Answering phone and dealing with customer queries. Respond to all customer order delivery dates in a timely and professional manner. Maintain relationships with customers. Process customer account application. Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. Work with the Sales Team on joint projects as required. Update and maintain spreadsheets (customer back-order/forward orders). Maintain customer records. General filing. Attend and participate in regular team meetings. Requirements: Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge in using SAP or similar ERP system. Customer focused. Team player attitude. Strong time management skills including ability to deal with competing priorities. Meticulous and organized. Excellent communications skills in both written and verbal.
