Description of the Role / Your New Role Provide exemplary social work service in the general medicine wards including assessment, intervention, and discharge planning. Foster positive team and workplace culture as a senior social worker. Utilise specialised skills and knowledge in relation to relevant community providers communicating between patients and caregivers. Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff, and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services, information and leadership Actively lead and participate in Allied Health quality improvement initiatives and research Description of the Person / About You You have demonstrated hospital experience with a collaborative leadership style You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others. You are a qualified Social Worker, eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
