Due to growth, our client is seeking a bright, talented and dedicated Legal Secretary to assist one of the lawyers in providing efficient and effective legal support. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation of conveyancing transactions from start to finish and pride themselves on having exceptional organisational skills and a positive, optimistic mindset. Your DNA is quintessential, so we need to be unique in how we interview you, which makes this process so exciting THE ROLE: Assist Lawyer in preparing and organising legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and briefs. Take ownership of conveyancing cases from start to finish Must also be able to support wills, power of attorney and business law Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, handling correspondence, and managing billing and invoicing. Communicate with clients, other law firms, and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner. Perform other duties as needed to support the legal team. YOU: Must have at least 5 years exp as a legal secretary or paralegal Proficiency in legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
