About the Role This role will be working in office on Thursdays and Fridays. We are currently seeking to appoint a Client Service Officer with a leading NSW Government agency. Key accountabilities include: The role personally administers a caseload of approximately 70 to 80 cases for clients and customers. Conduct research within Australia, paying claims, preparing distributions, and issuing closing statements of receipts and disbursements. Actively listen to the concerns and enquiries of customers and stakeholders and work to resolve issues. Deliver high quality, respectful, consistent, empathetic and timely services to customers. Access the required systems and processes to support the management of customer matters and actively suggest improvements. Escalate complex matters and substantial complaints to the Senior Client Service Officer or Principal Client Service Officer, as required. Discuss progress with Senior Client Service Officer and complete ongoing decisions, budgets and administration. About You Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of the departments key services and customer base including experience working and/or supporting people with disability, vulnerable or older people. Willingness to have phone calls and team email accounts monitored for quality assurance and training purposes, and to participate in one to one review sessions for calls and emails. A genuine passion for supporting members of the community. Candidates must be able to pass a full background check .
