The position will provide services across both inpatients and outpatients. Demonstrated clinical experience in Women’s and Children’s health including providing counselling to women throughout their pregnancy, dealing with family relationship issues, domestic violence, grief, and bereavement counselling related to pregnancy loss. Demonstrated skills and knowledge in child protection assessment and interventions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes. Well-developed time management skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, excellent written communication, including report writing skills and high-level computer literacy. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build therapeutic relationships. Commitment to professional supervision, building professional skills and capacity, and willingness to seek appropriate guidance and direction. Knowledge of quality assurance and / or clinical practice improvement activities.
