Warehouse Operator — Ermington, Parramatta Area

Position Summary Job Summary: To work as part of warehouse team performing activities including: The efficient packing of gaming machines, accurate picking of production orders, unloading and loading of containers, housekeeping of warehouse and site environs, Cycle counting and stock taking, General warehouse duties as directed (eg: receival of deliveries). Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to interpret sales orders / pick slips / warehouse documentation Accuracy in count and stock reconciliation Be prepared to meet deadlines including working overtime am & pm and weekends when required. Ability to perform manual tasks including heavy lifting using supplied lifting and moving equipment. Ability to work autonomously Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as data entry, filing, photocopying and collating. Be punctual Clear, concise and professional communication with internal and external clients. Seek out opportunities for operational improvements Comply to WHS policies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good communication skills Ability to work under pressure Desire to learn Ability to use Microsoft Office Experience with an ERP, ideally Navision but not essential Experience, Education and Qualification: 1 years' experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment School Certificate or higher would be highly regarded Current Drivers license (HR/MR) Current Forklift license Working Conditions: The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations Workplace Health & Safety: Actively co-operate and comply with the company's WHS Policy and Program to ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others in the workplace Ensure compliance with safe work practices Ensure not to put self and others at risk Use and maintain equipment properly and ensure that the work area is free of hazards Report all incidents, injuries and near misses Report any hazard or accident to the supervisor or manager as soon as it becomes apparent Advise your manager if you do not believe you have the skills, training or equipment to safely perform your duties (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
