Monday-Friday with reasonable weekend work when required Western Sydney NSW $115k Super (Negotiable depending on experience) Diverse multicultural and tight-knit team where you will be valued Working on behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking and driven Project Engineer to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Working on projects ranging from Civil Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Building Sector, and Architectural Steel. You must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role as well as knowing the Australian market. You will primarily be working within their Western Sydeny manufacturing branch but will also be expected to liaise with customers on-site as well. Roles and Responsibilities: Be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the fabrication process. Which includes detailing, purchasing, scheduling, fabrication as well as shipping and supplier management Develop comprehensive project plans, collaborating with internal teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables. Support mechanical design processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Oversee project execution, coordinate activities across departments, and conduct progress meetings for transparent reporting. The ability to read and interpret drawings to guide current and future projects Foster effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders, providing regular updates for transparency. Skills & Experience Needed Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role, solid experience in steel fabrication industries with local experience. Training & experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and APQP tools & methodologies Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and in a team.
