They are looking to appoint an experienced Electronics Engineer to assist with the design & development of electrical-mechanical systems. ABOUT THE ROLE This position will see you assisting your team within the product development life cycle from the initial concept stage right through to manufacture. Specifics of the role include but are not limited to. • Design & develop a range of electronic products that encompass o Small motors – AC/DC/Battery powered o Rechargeable batteries and charge/discharge circuitry (Li-Ion, Li-Po, etc) o Low powered electro-mechanical systems o Remote controls and sensors o Device/sensor integration into IoT systems • Collaborate with engineers, product managers and contract manufacturers from a wide variety of technical disciplines to develop new electro-mechanical products • Translate customer needs into technical requirements, engaging product management, customers, procurement, quality, sales, and marketing functions • Generate innovative and unique solutions to market needs resulting in the development of new or refined products, processes, or equipment SKILLS & EXPEIRENCE To be considered for this role, you will • Be tertiary qualified in Electronics Design, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar field • Have some relevant experience in related work experience within electronics design and development • Ideally have used Altium Designer (Parts Creation, Schematic capture, and PCB design) • Understand the process for circuit testing and analysis • Be able to undertake PCB assembly, fault finding and rework • A working knowledge of software and firmware with regard to product development • Be able to work in a multidisciplinary team To apply online please click on the appropriate link and send your resume in WORD format.
