About the role We are seeking a suitably experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our highly capable team and work cohesively with various medical and clinical staff to provide administrative support to the operations and functions of the clinic. The position will be responsible for processing referrals and scheduling appointments, providing clerical support and customer service to staff and clients, filing and retrieval of information, as well as collaborating with all staff cohesively. This role will be based at the Specialist Outpatient Clinic or Women's Health Service with the expectation of undertaking planned and unplanned leave cover across other clinics in areas such as Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Oncology and General Medicine. Permanent part time positions available in the following clinics: Specialist Outpatient Clinic (48 hours per fortnight), commencing in February 2024. What you bring The successful applicant will have previous experience and skills in administration, demonstrate effective communication skills along with problem solving and computer skills. You will have an ability to utilise your own initiative and working with minimal direction and supervision with the ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Skills in dealing with the general public, external organisations and staff in a professional manner and meeting deadlines is also essential for the role.
