Community & Stakeholder Engagement Administrator — The Rocks, Sydney

The Project CGU is a joint venture of CPB Contractors, Ghella and UGL. CGU is delivering construction of the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will provide the missing link from Sydney's south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. The M6 Stage 1 project scope includes construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels that will link the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah. Works also include construction of a five-kilometre shared pedestrian and cyclist pathway with a bridge over President Avenue, as well as associated road and utility works. New parklands and recreation spaces are also being developed at Bicentennial Park. The Opportunity The M6 Project is looking for an enthusiastic Community & Stakeholder Engagement Administrator to join our team This is a pivotal role within our team which is based at our Community Information Centre (CIC), located in Brighton Le Sands. Key responsibilities for the role include: Assisting the Community and Stakeholder Engagement team with preparation and delivery of notifications, newsletters and presentations Assisting with planning and development of community events and attending events to provide team support as required Managing phone and email complaints and enquiries and completing reports as required Analysing, investigating and following up queries and complaints as appropriate and monitoring progress and outcomes Preparing and maintaining accurate records of community interactions and reporting key findings/status/trends on a weekly and monthly basis Maintaining complaint and enquiry registers Maintaining and updating the project's community database Supporting the team with day-to-day activities and operation of the CIC Management of supplies and services for the CIC Following up budgets and accruals in an organised, detailed and effective manner Website support - editing documents to be web accessible, uploading documents to the website and reporting on web analytics Following and implementing processes to ensure compliance with all project legal and regulatory requirements. About You To be successful you will ideally have the following experience and capabilities: Experience in community relations, public relations, communication, customer service or similar. Degree or tertiary qualifications in Public Relations or Communications are desirable Great communication skills and the ability to deal positively with members of the public, face-to-face and on the phone Demonstrated writing skills with ability to prepare a wide variety of communication materials for internal and external audiences Experience using Microsoft tools including Word, PowerPoint and Excel Good organisational skills and effective time management Problem solving and conflict management skills Current NSW Driver License preferred We are looking for an A-team player who brings a positive, confident and helpful approach to this important role.
