This casual position will be based at various functions and events held at corporate offices in Sydney CBD, Arts Gallery NSW, Australian Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art. This position is perfect for chefs with excellent attention to detail and a creative flair Work on-site in a range of premium venues across Sydney CBD Oversee the accurate and consistent preparation and presentation of all dishes at functions and events Oversee a team of junior chefs Work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver high-quality menus Work closely with Event Managers and Function Supervisors to meet all client needs Check off all food and equipment on arrival to site, and before leaving site About You Certificate III in Commercial Cookery 4 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel, large-scale restaurant or catering company Passionate about producing quality dishes Driven to achieve the highest standards in an efficient manner Strong time management and planning skills Able to effectively manage and motivate a team of chefs Excellent attention to detail Ability to follow standard recipes Valid working rights in Australia About The Fresh Collective The Fresh Collective is a Sydney based hospitality group also operating in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth, delivering exceptional experiences and premium food and beverage events.
