Research Data and Administration Officer Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Research Data and Administration Officer to join the dynamic team in the Research Unit on a part time basis. The LRH Research Unit is committed to building the culture and capacity of its staff to enable engagement in multidisciplinary research and advance collaborative research with our University partners. The Research Unit encourages and prioritises research that will benefit consumers of the health service and the health needs of the wider Gippsland population. The Unit also supports and encourages the implementation of clinical trial opportunities for patients in Gippsland and we actively seek out and coordinate opportunities for collaborative research internally and externally. The successful applicant will have the support of a highly skilled and experienced team and will benefit from the employee support and career options that a large regional referral hospital offers. The Research Data and Administration Officer will be responsible for data collection and maintenance and provide administrative support to the leadership team and staff in the Research and Clinical Trials Unit (RU). The position will gather, prepare, and maintain data for funding purposes, performance reporting and also provide essential administrative support. In addition, the role will perform a key role in the management of data related to clinical trial assessments including the maintenance of trial participant payment schedules and thus contribute to the overall success of the unit’s operations.
