CIMIC Group Limited - Melbourne, VIC Construction, Architecture & Interior Design Source: uWorkin About North East Link - The Spark Consortium has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project - Victoria's biggest road project. The Spark Consortium's Design and Construction Contractor - which comprises Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering and Construction and China Construction Oceania - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project. The Central Package will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership and provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads. About the Opportunity Work as part of a high performing Project Information team on Australia's largest project to date. You will assist in the production of designated design packages on time and on budget and ensuring you liaise with the project team to ensure designs are developed in accordance with all project requirements. As well as supporting the DE team supplementary modelling activities using Revit, Rhino, Fuzor and other software packages you will be responsible for the management and implementation of appropriate software and systems required to meet the Digital Engineering Execution Plans. Don't hesitate to apply now Typical Skills and Responsibilities Assist the Design Manager to plan and control the delivery of project design to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and profit objectives Demonstrable experience of project DE, including responding to client requirements, project setup and technical implementation; Strong experience and understanding of Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage, Recap, Build and/or Tekla Structures; Coordinate the interaction of project members in the design delivery process, including design, construction, planning and environmental resources Monitor and evaluate the work of designers allocated to the project to ensure that their progress meets requirements Assist in the design approval process by coordinating issue resolution Work in conjunction with the Project Information Manaer around project resourcing Assist with client and stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with the project team Manage work and performance of subcontractors with design responsibility Work in conjunction with the Digital Engineering Manager in the development of design budgets and schedules Demonstratable experience of project DE, including responding to client Understanding of BIM Collaborate Pro (formerly BIM360); Understand design compliance and reporting procedures and processes and leadership in the communication of requirements Perform duties in accordance with project processes, systems and procedures Qualifications Diploma in Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering T1 major projects Experience Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction. Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering T1 major projects Multi-discipline project experience desirable in Building, Construction, Design Awareness of people management processes Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specifications, standards and implications for project accountabilities Strong understanding of Digital Engineering methodologies and construction techniques, including applicable International codes and standards.
