Relocation assistance required for the right candidate Full time ongoing position based in Hobart or Launceston About the opportunity The College of Health and Medicine is looking for a Senior Administration Officer to join their College Services Team. The team provides seamless administrative support for the day-to-day running of the division. As the Senior Administration Officer, you will not only be proficient in administrative tasks, but you will also have a knack for leadership, mentoring and training new staff. You will have excellent communication skills and be highly organised with a positive attitude. You will be the key support for the Team Leader in continuously reviewing procedures to ensure best practice while supporting the team in their ongoing development. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role that will allow you to use your administrative skills while also developing your leadership and mentoring abilities, then this job is for you What you’ll do: Provide technical knowledge and assistance, perform comprehensive administrative tasks, and respond to complex requests. Respond to enquiries from within the College, whilst ensuring a consistent customer service approach. Contribute and lead a superior service culture by facilitating feedback on service levels and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. Provide data reporting, quantitative and qualitative feedback sourced from University Systems and surveys to manage and shape service offerings. Contribute to enhancing business systems, policies and procedures of the College by championing the review, development, and implementation of these initiatives. Provide leadership for the delivery of internal communications and events as directed including interacting with internal and external stakeholders. ­What we’re looking for: Completion of a degree or diploma qualification with relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience or education and training. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and organise self to ensure timely completion of all tasks, manage competing deadlines, exercise diplomacy, and maintain confidentiality. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the proven capacity and confidence to build relationships and effectively communicate and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and act independently using initiative, judgement and discretion. Excellent interpersonal skills that enhance an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $99,698 comprising base salary within the range of $76,302 to $85,212 plus 17% superannuation.
