Exciting opportunity awaits for an individual seeking to make a significant impact in a critical position as the National Retail Excellence Lead for Independent Brands Australia (IBA). This role involves spearheading Retail Excellence, collaborating with renowned brands like Cellarbrations, The Bottle-O, Porters, and IGA Liquor. As a key player, you will engage with internal & external stakeholders, driving the development and execution of shopper-centric retail strategies. Your focus on operational excellence will ensure the delivery of key retail initiatives, ultimately crafting shopping experiences for consumers. This position requires regular travel interstate. What you’ll do Collaborate on creating the vision for the retail 'store of the future,' innovative Coolroom designs, and retail point-of-sale (POS) systems with the team. Shape forward-thinking merchandising programs for all IBA banner groups, ensuring impactful retail presence. Lead Reward Programs championing member retention, ensuring high standards across the network, including initiatives like IBA 5 Star Awards, Retailer of the year. Apply shopper insights and category data for crafting and executing retail strategies, programs, and in-store displays across all categories. Lead a team with two direct reports, providing coaching and mentoring to IBA BDMs and Retail Operations teams, including owned stores Lead liquor license opportunities by collaborating with Property and State Management teams to identify and secure new/existing sites for IBA. What you’ll be Retail operations industry experience, preferably in the FMCG industry Category Management experience is essential. Experience with process improvement and change initiatives.
