PRIMARY DETAIL This role will contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the three chiropractic clinics by managing supplies, IT, and general maintenance. It'll also provide mentoring to students on reception. THE ROLE Salary Package: Pro-rata $74,062 - $79,823 (HEW 4), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading Appointment Type: Part Time, 4 days per week, continuing role Macquarie University (Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde) This role will contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the three chiropractic clinics by managing supplies, IT, and general maintenance. The role will provide support to the Clinic Operations Coordinator and Director of Clinics in the Department of Chiropractic. Additionally, the role will also provide support to the clinic supervisors, allowing them more time to mentor our Master of Chiropractic students on placement. The position will spend one day at each of the Department's three clinics (MQ Campus, Eastwood, Summer Hill) on a weekly basis. It will also assist in the management of reception and patient information for each of the clinics and to provide mentoring in reception to students on placement. About You The successful candidate will have experience working in a clinical reception, standardising procedures, and in training others on receptionist duties. You will have experience with customer service and scheduling patients for appointments with clinicians. You will have a passion for working with students, creating a strong environment for learning, and enabling them to develop an important skillset required for their careers as chiropractors. About Us The Department of Chiropractic operates three teaching clinics for students in our final year of the Master of Chiropractic program to complete a year of placements before graduating with their degree. These three clinics are patient facing to provide chiropractic treatment to those in the Macquarie Park, Eastwood, Summer Hill, and surrounding areas. The Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences (FMHHS) is ambitiously pushing the boundaries of progressive thinking and challenging what's possible to solve some of the big issues of our time, both nationally and on a global scale. The Faculty's current education suite includes courses in clinical science, physiotherapy, medicine and public health, psychology, cognitive sciences, linguistics, audiology, and speech pathology.
