About the Role Join us as an Aternity Engineer specializing in Aternity's End User Experience Monitoring (EUEM) products In this role, you'll be at the forefront, tackling enterprise-wide challenges related to network efficiency, application performance, server capacity, and end-user experience. Your work will merge desktop engineering expertise with a sharp business focus, aimed at delivering and optimizing IT performance management solutions. Please note to be successful in this role you would need to be an AU Citizen with NV1 mandatory What you'll do Your responsibilities will encompass a range of critical tasks: Delve into customers' IT landscapes, understanding their requirements and processes to drive full adoption of Aternity's solutions, maximizing ROI and business impact. Offer specialized planning and design expertise in digital experience monitoring, application performance troubleshooting, and end-user performance analysis. Gather crucial end-user and application performance data for effective troubleshooting. Develop scripts to enhance Aternity's EUEM capabilities for metric collection and remediation. Configure precise measurements for end-user activities and backend application transactions, ensuring accuracy and validity. Articulate and present advanced product features, benefits, and comprehensive solutions to stakeholders. Collaborate directly with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, working on-site or remotely to achieve project objectives. Resolve performance issues for both Windows and Apple-based platforms, generating budget-sensitive solutions to meet customer needs. What you'll bring Desired Technical Skills: Ideally, hands-on experience with ATERNITY or similar products (e.g., Lakeside Systrack, Nexthink,). Proficiency in network and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis is highly preferable. Sound understanding of common application architecture frameworks, distributed mechanisms, and messaging components. Familiarity with IT methodologies for software deployment and change in enterprise settings. Programming skills in PowerShell, Python, C++, Golang, Rust, or similar languages. Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms. Understanding of J2EE and/or .NET internals. Strong technical skills in SQL and XML, complemented by an understanding of network/HTML/HTTP traffic. Knowledge of cloud-based technologies like AWS and Azure, alongside expertise in web technologies, server/client-side (Java Servlets, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, HTTP, RESTful architecture). Proficiency in web application architecture and software, including familiarity with Web Servers (Apache, IIS), Application Servers (WebSphere, WebLogic), Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2), and Operating Systems (UNIX, Windows). While expertise in all these areas isn't expected, a high-level understanding of their functionality and interrelationships is crucial. Basic administrative skills for these technologies are a plus. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
