The Role We are seeking an Accounts Administrator based at our Subiaco Office who will support the Mining Technical Services and Group Accounting team with financial account management. The Primary functions will be to generate end of month project claims, provide administration for the mining production data management system and support the accounting transactional review process. The role will ensure project cost accounts are monitored, accurate and traceable. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day operation of the finance & mining department, including filing, report generation, forecast & budget reviews. Maintaining accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. Recommending financial actions by analysing account transactions. Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/annual closings. Timely completion of monthly financial account reviews and reconciliations. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends. Supporting the timely completion, analysis and reporting of monthly results. The successful applicant will ideally have: Graduate of commerce/accounting, still progressing through their studies or have a certificate 3 or 4 in accounting. Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills; Intermediate to advanced Jobpac or equivalent accounting software skills; Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills; Mining or construction industry experience would be advantageous; A background in supporting projects & personnel across multiple locations.
