We're offering an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and creative Design Studio Manager, on a fixed term up to 12-month contract, to join the team at our Brisbane Design Studio. Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and offering advice to customers on our range of stylish building products, including answering any queries related to unique project specifications. Duties include but are not limited to: Manage the Design Studio budget. Manage the Design Studio roster, including one direct report. Deliver excellent customer service, promoting Brickworks products at every opportunity. Help to specify products for various projects and convert them into sales. Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts & architectural customers. Assist with meeting Design Studio key performance indicators, managing contacts and creating Opportunities within Salesforce CRM. Lead a small dynamic Design Studio team to maintain and build on existing customer base. Conduct client Colour Consultations, finalise colour schedules, and pursue potential upgrades. Encourage use of the Design Studio as an industry hub and destination for inspiration. Assist the Design & Events Coordinator in setting up and running events held in the Design Studio. Demonstrate a solid understanding of Brickworks' Occupational Health and Safety policies. Maintain effective contractor induction process and record. Process purchase orders, invoices, and credit card expenses promptly and in accordance with policy. The following attributes would contribute to success in this role Tertiary qualifications in design, business, or project management. Prior office management and administrative skills are advantageous. Building industry knowledge and exposure to residential and commercial sectors. Strong eye for colour and design. Passionate about customer service, always willing to go above and beyond. Ability to work autonomously while being a team player. Exceptional time management and organisational skills. Lively and positive personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Enjoy problem-solving and remain composed under pressure.
