Job Description Location: Melbourne | CBD Job type: Full time / Ongoing Organisation: Victoria Legal Aid Salary: $59,877 - $75,668 Occupation: Administration/Secretarial Reference: VG/1845 Seeking a motivated administrative legal assistant to assist the youth crime team to provide legal services to metro Melbourne area. Full time ongoing position Salary based on experience, range: $59,877 - $75,668 plus super Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model About the role: Based at our Melbourne office on Wurundjeri Country, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of our client services. You will triage client queries via telephone, as well as provide information and referrals to the public, legal practitioners, and other community services. You will provide legal administrative support to our lawyers including client data entry, file management, and preparation of legal documents. About you: As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Experience in providing administrative support, ideally gained within a legal environment, and/or the ability to provide client focused services in a complex, confidential and sensitive environment. Strong organisational, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet timelines and work under pressure to ensure efficient and effective delivery of VLA services. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Don't meet every requirement?
