This is an exciting career role for a Mechanical engineer or Electrical engineer graduate looking for their next career role. About the role:This role reports into a Senior Project Manager with the ultimate objective of assisting with the role out of CSR critical capital works, until completion. This will see the Project Engineer employing process investigation techniques, innovative design development and project management methods and working on-site at Cooper Plains in BrisbaneScope of role: Assist with facilitating effective communication plans to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate project information and progress.Manage contractors, trades & technical personnel to achieve Engineering & Capital Plans.Conduct and manage design reviews, evaluating layouts, drawings, and schedules for adherence to project specifications.Collaborate with the project team to provide valuable insights and contribute to optimising designs.Contribute to managing and tracking project costs, including the administration of purchase orders, progress claims, and variations.Assist in the organisation and project planning to effectively manage suppliers, including equipment deliveries, storage, shipping, and transport schedules.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with CSR and Australian Standards, including Regulatory Compliance.Drive decision making processes by presenting data driven insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.What you will bring:Degree qualified as a Mechanical or Electrical EngineerUp to 2 years' experience working as project engineer, or similar, working across manufacturing, infrastructure or FMCG environments.Previous experience as a project engineer, supporting a construction / build site project is highly regarded.Familiarity with AutoCAD design is a plus.Familiarity with problem solving / process improvement techniques including Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Lean Manufacturing, KT methods would be advantageousExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsWhat we can offer in return:Supportive and collaborative team cultureFlexible working environmentStability, with a strong focus on career developmentA well-established major Australian company with continuous growthRewarding career development, with opportunities within and across our brandsCompetitive salary package 12% superannuation bonus Culture:At CSR, we are committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment that recognises and rewards its people, enabling them to grow their career and truly thrive.We are a diverse and inclusive organisation where differences are valued.
