About the Role Work alongside our female participants with differing support needs and provide them the assistance they need to live independently in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation. We are offering casual positions and competitive pay according to the SCHADS Award. We understand that the role can be quite varied depending on the individual you support, however, your day-to-day may include: Assisting with domestic duties including shopping, meal preparation and other housework Ensuring safe and hygienic living conditions in their own homes Assisting with activities of daily living Personal care including showering, dressing and manual handling Attending community programs with the participant About You You are experienced with participants who have acquired brain injury You have a certificate III in Disability or an equivalent qualification completed or in progress You have previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably within an accommodation setting You are committed to providing client focused services with positive outcomes You are confident and able to build trust and rapport Requirements To apply for this role, you must have: Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Clearance Current police check conducted within the last 6 months Australian driver's license (with a reliable and comprehensively insured car) Current first aid and CPR certificate What We Offer: A supportive team environment and culture – we celebrate you A commitment to your professional development – we want you to thrive Opportunities to develop your career – we promote internally Apply If you are ready to make a difference in your community and be a part of a dynamic team, click the "Apply Now" link and join Connecting Families
