Join us as Senior Legal Counsel for the Electrification Business Area where you will be providing local legal support in Australia and New Zealand in connection to Electrification Business. Reporting to Regional General Counsel APAC and this position will be based in Moorebenk or Notting Hill, Australia. Relevant work permit is must. Your responsibilities Providing local legal support in Australia and New Zealand in connection to Electrification Business Reviewing Independently and redline of Sale contracts, procurement contracts, risk assessment of contracts in line with ABB corporate guidelines Providing internal training on contractual and integrity topics Implementing of ABB policies to ensure consistency and compliance applicable local laws, Integrity and the formulation, interpretation Supporting in improvement or development of legal processes, due diligence and legal productivity, simplicity, and standardization, reflecting the country specific requirements Managing and coordinating litigation and employment disputes in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders Supporting ABB Integrity program and supporting Integrity initiatives in close collaboration with the Corporate Counsel and Regional General Counsel and you will be part of local EL management team for Australia and New Zealand Your background Legal degree from accredited law school with a demonstrable superior academic record First Legal experience or equivalent in an internationally recognized law firm or multinational company,that includes, inter alia - substantial "hands-on" experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contract. Handling and managing complex litigation and employment disputes.Implementing,monitoring Integrity,compliance program in Australia,New Zealand (including performing ethics and compliance investigation) is preferred Demonstrable computer literacy with specific ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software such as redlining tools Superior advocacy and communication skills, including the ability to communicate in writing effectively and efficiently and orally, an aptitude for practical negotiation, the capability to think clearly and quickly under pressure, the composure to satisfy multiple and often competing interests and ability to share lessons learned with teammates The highest integrity and professionalism, and passion for excellence and quality Stakeholders management and superior negotiating skills and ability to work in complex international environment, substantial experience working in different cultures and an open mind which champions diversity and inclusion Demonstrable fluency in English, including ability to draft and negotiate legal and corporate documents in English and such other language(s).
