As a 'hands on' Receptionist your day will be varied, which may include typing of medical correspondence, scheduling appointments, billings and day to day administration duties. We are seeking a person with experience in private practice in a specialist centre with the capability to effectively support and meet the needs of a number of Doctors in their private practice. The successful applicant will be a positive, responsible, self-motivated person with excellent people and telephone skills. It is essential that you have proven experience in a similar role combined with strong focus on detail, highly developed relationship skills, commitment to customer service and a 'can do' approach, and above all an unwavering commitment to client confidentiality. About You The successful applicant will have a proven record in managing a medical practice and also meet the following criteria: An understanding of Patient Management systems (i.e. Medical Director, Medilink, Gentu) Experience with Microsoft Office applications in a windows environment Demonstrated ability to complete reporting requirements accurately and within specified timeframes Experience in business development Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to actively liaise with staff and patients to ensure the information process is completed accurately and conducted professionally and efficiently About Ramsay The Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.
