This role will suit candidates who enjoy the day-to-day challenges of working within a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager, you will work within a team of legal assistants to provide a broad range of legal administration support to our lawyers and the wider office including word processing, data entry, file management and reception services. You will also assist legal aid clients with general enquiries and work with external legal practitioners and community legal centres to ensure the needs of our clients are met. Positions available: 2 x Full time ongoing 1 x Part time (0.8FTE) ongoing About you: As our ideal candidate, you bring: Experience in providing administrative support, ideally gained within a legal environment, and/or the ability to provide client focused services in a complex, confidential and sensitive environment. Strong organisational, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet timelines and work under pressure to ensure efficient and effective delivery of VLA services. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
