As a Design Manager, you will operate under the broad direction of the Senior Design Project Manager, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality outcomes on Campus Estate projects. Your role will be client focused, establishing strong relationships across the university, assisting our clients by providing design and project advice and implementation. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring governance across entire project life cycles, implementing key strategic initiatives such as the Comprehensive Space Management Plan, Strategic Asset Management Plan, and Campus Masterplan. Additionally, you will extend your expertise to provide comprehensive project life cycle management for Minor Works projects as needed, with requirements assessed on an as-needed basis. This role demands an autonomous and independent approach, requiring a minimum of 5 years of work experience, coupled with a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or its equivalent. This is a unique opportunity to spearhead the design of all small works, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and apply your creative, customer-focused, and analytically robust design solutions to effectively manage projects from initiation through to design development.
