Develop your career within a growing, iconic Australian business Full training provided with a safety first approach to all we do Competitive Pay Rate PLUS Overtime, Weekend, Shift Work and LAHA Allowances Your next opportunity: We are currently seeking a Bitumen Sprayer Driver to work within our Spray Contracting teams on a full-time basis, in Welshpool WA 6106. This role offers flexibility and scope to focus your skills in one area or a wide range of areas. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced driver with knowledge of spray sealing process, operation of a bitumen spray truck (BFP) and Matthews Bros. and safe handling of bituminous products. This role will suit a collaborative team player who enjoys driving trucks, with applications also open to applicants seeking a traineeship. Your day will involve: Safe operation and current drivers licence of HC / MC trucks Ensuring the upkeep of company trucks and promptly reporting faults to management Bitumen spray seal industry experience will be highly regarded Previous experience handling Dangerous Goods will be viewed favourably Safe handling and spraying of all grades and blends of bituminous products - hot bitumen, polymer modified bitumen, prime emulsion etc (desirable, not essential) Promoting a positive image of Boral and engaging with customers in a professional and courteous manner Strong customer focus and good communication skills Ability to work independently and undertake record keeping What are we looking for? A strong commitment to safety and the environment complying with both Boral OH&S policies and regulatory requirements Committed to the challenges being a part of superior team and customer focus development HC or MC drivers' license Dangerous Goods license (desirable, not essential) Preferred experience in Bitumen sprayer or tanker operation and the safe handling of bituminous products Training can be provided to the right applicant should they be able to show evidence of meeting remaining requirements. An understanding of WAHVA fatigue management requirements Self-driven and the ability to work well independently Ability to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements – including weekends, night shift and possible extended working away What’s on offer?
