Due to an internal promotion, we are currently looking for an experienced Network Administrator/Engineer to join our team located in Hobart. We offer a hybrid work environment with the opportunity to be based in Hobart or Launceston. The team you will be part of provides ICT Solutions for Federal Group's entire portfolio. With a mission of "enabling business" we are focused on delivering excellent customer service and providing high quality enterprise solutions. In this exciting position you will assist with the maintenance and development of Federal Group's ICT with a strong focus on Network Infrastructure and capability. In this hands-on role you will be an important part of the team responsible for the physical and virtual IT equipment including Network, Security, Telecommunications (VoIP) and associated services. This role includes project work, second level technical support, on-site deployment of equipment and troubleshooting. What makes this role unique is the diversity, from on prem to azure, from Hobart to Darwin. You will be responsible for systems from (but not limited to) Fortinet, Cisco, and Meraki. Federal Group has a strong focus on cyber security and is constantly reviewing and improving our security standing. To succeed in this role you will have: Holds IT technical certifications in Networking, e.g. CCNA Relevant experience in a Network support/administration related role, including some or all of the following: LAN & Wireless LAN Network Access & Security Network related services such as RADIUS, DHCP and DNS Unified Communications (e.g. Cisco Unified Communications Manager) a strong customer service orientation with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships, demonstrated experience in effectively planning, organising and prioritising workloads, ability to use discretion in identifying and resolving complex problems and assignments, ability to attain Tasmanian Gaming License (Technician A) accreditation a current drivers licence In return we will provide you with a supportive, continuous learning environment as well as career progression opportunities and outstanding employee benefits and a work/life balance.
