Position Overview: As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our storage-focused projects, handling client-facing responsibilities, infrastructure storage designs, and technical consultancy work. You'll collaborate with vendors such as Commvault, Pure Storage, Dell, HPE, and NetApp to implement and design cutting-edge storage solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with storage technologies, and the ability to work closely with clients to meet their storage needs. Responsibilities: Engage directly with clients to understand their storage requirements and provide technical expertise. Lead the design and implementation of storage solutions, collaborating with vendors and internal teams. Work closely with senior engineers to shadow and gain insights into our client's storage environment. Perform peer reviews of storage solutions under the guidance of solutions architects. Implement and manage storage solutions from vendors such as Commvault, Pure Storage, Dell, HPE, and NetApp. Collaborate with the team on virtualization technologies, including Windows Server and VMware ESXi. Oversee storage-related aspects of virtualization, backups, and disaster recovery. Provide on-call support as needed, ensuring the availability and reliability of storage environments. Rarely go on-site, with a primary focus on remote management of storage solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Storage Engineer, with a strong focus on implementation, design experience is a positive. Technical proficiency with storage solutions from vendors such as Commvault, Pure Storage, Dell, HPE, and NetApp. Hands-on experience with Windows Server, VMware ESXi, and virtualization technologies. Solid understanding of backup and disaster recovery principles. Client-facing experience, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver optimal storage solutions. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide on-call support when necessary.
